Anyone know if Rolley lake park is open yet ???
read it had been closed after the storms but should be open soon :-\
i fancy getting the tube out in the morning 8)
or can anyone suggest another good lake not too far away ( i live in Coquitlam)

I dont know about Rolley. Another one you might try is Mike lake in Golden ears park. The gate there might be locked as per a post from about a month ago. Weaver lake up in the Chehalis area is also a great tube lake. It also has a gate issue.

Whonnock lake can be decent at times, its at the east end of maple ridge.

It has been a while since I have been up to weaver, wolf ETC. There used to me a really nice fellow that managed the site from Chehalis camp site. He was willing to give out a key for a 50$ deposit, returned once finished. I am not sure if this is still the case since this was two years ago. They were doing a lot of logging in the area at the time and this drastically affected access. When he was there, it was a great way to have a little lake all to yourself. I am itching to do some lake fishing and was thinking of heading up there.... would love to hear an update.
