I took a drive by Edith the other day, there were about 6 vehicles in the p-lot but I didn't see any action or "blood" on the ice....also drove into Black Lake today, 2 groups fishing fairly late in the day which made me wonder if the fishing was good or just the beer???? Rose and Tulip were empty. Any suggestions???

I fished Rose in May and got two rainbows about 18''. It is mostly a brookie lake but in the last few years I have heard that its being fished out by ice fishermen. One other rumour is that someone turned the aerator off last season so it could have killed most of the fish. Its too bad as these are beautiful little lakes which had some nice fish.

...I agree...I have seen ice fishing take a toll on lakes before, myself I plunk them back in the hole.....neither Rose or Tulip appear to be too popular, anyone I have talked have not got anything out of there.....hopefully they are just hibernating!!!! as I would like to try both in the spring....
