Time to get the 'pens' out again. I am going to request Barry Penner provide me the information I require to be an 'informed' critic...
I am starting to state, very seriously, to people that there may not be salmon or steelhead fishing in five to ten years. I wish evidence would appear that indicates this will not be the case. Sad part is it may be gone for a period of time and then once the light goes on rehabilitated with hatcheries when the opportunity to preserve the fishery may exist now.
Then again with ocean survival appearing to be a major concern and currently impossible to diagnose the challenge may be far bigger than what occurs in our rivers.
