Not sure if this has appeared in local papers yet but just read it in the International Times Digest
...Safeway has decided to stop buying farm raised Salmon from Chile due to a viral outbreak...
Lovely stuff but of course BC Salmon farms do not have such problems...RIGHT.
Just more info to add to the debate...interesting that the Chilean farms are owned mostly by Scandinavian companies much like our farms...
Let's hope someone finally gets this scenario right.
