[kamloops killer]

Been planning on going fishing up to Saskum Lake what kind of flies or trolling what would you use ford fenders. Was up there a couple weeks ago the fish were jumping but not biting. Any help would be nice.

Saskum is a very moody lake. The weather up there can change very quickly and can put the fish off as well. I was up there a couple of times in the late 90's...I'll tell ya what I know...it's a very chilly lake. Most of the fishing is done along the drop off, there are some big fish in there so hang on! This lake has/had a fairly good Kokanee fishery in the early summer. I trolled a Coachman on a sinking line and got a few small rainbows but had to work hard for them. The scenery on this lake made the trip for me! Sorry I don't know more...
