Hey All,
I have tomorrow, that being Wednesday July 2nd, OFF. So, I'm going to the Scale Bar. I had a fish on Friday that had me 20 yds from getting spooled. No, I didn't land it, I pulled the hook out, but it sure was fun.
If anyone wishes to join me, (help with costs) we can go anytime. I live on the Bby./ Vanc. border near the Second Narrows.

Agree.....Last year we had flood warnings, but this year the upper snow pack in our region is still melting because of the cool spring....I think the rivers will come around in mid month as the water slowly drops....When the vis. is 2 ft. it is time to hit the flow........Ortho 8)

OK,
Just for the record, I bottom bounce. I use a small green and white spin & glow with some green and yellow wool. I know, I should fish another way such as bar rig, but I don't know where and don't have the proper rod & reel. I do sometimes use a large silver spin n'glow with green top and white wings and a 3 ft leader. As for time of year, as soon as I can get on a beach.
It was a nice fish and I did whatever I could do not to lose my brand new line. I have new carbon fibre brakes and they locked it down and pulled the hook out with about 20 yds left. Damm fish wouldn't stop jumping and running.
So does anyone want to go????

Fishing above all else.

Give it up, boys.........you are soooooooo boring!................When fisheries changes the rules..........I will listen.....Right now, if the fish is within legal limit you can bonk it, if it is over the legal size limit you release.....It is simple.................catch 'em any way you can. Our fisheries ask for selective methods....what's more selective?.........Quit riding the tide and prepare yourself for a full river closure....Ortho 8)
