was up there last weekend... expecting great things. got good things. about a million people, and fish were being caught but quite slowly. the sedges just werent out yet. the only other people who caught more than a couple, were using either a bloodworm, or a pumpkinhead. (that i saw) me, though did have some decent action near dusk and into dark with a #10 dark elk hair, but started having fairly steady action on a lt. green caddis pupae the next afternoon. but the sedges really were few and far between.
should be any day now.. (you would think)
oh, I only fished the near end.
