Hello seeking info for Powell lake, The family is heading up and the step son wants to fish for cutthroat. I will not be going as I must stay and work 
. I am going to set him up with the 5wt with a type 3 and floating line. What I am hoping to find out is flies and techniques. I am assuming fishing the fast sink off a drop off with a sculpin pattern off the bottom is the preferred method, however feel free to set me straight.
He will have a boat but probably no anchor. He is moderatley profcient at chrironoimd fishing but I have told him this may not help there...
He leaves Tuesday morning, any wisdom passed on prior too will be sent along.
