Well, the Chinook season has officially began to get ramped up. Today was great, 1 Chinook short of limiting out for our boat...including some real beauties for this time of the year. Halibut and Rockfish continue to be caught in limits quite easily and usually there are 2 or 3 Lingcod thrown into the cooler on a regular basis as well. Attached are some pictures of 2 of the Chinook caught today.
Anchovies continue to nail the Chinook more than any other bait/hootchie. Depths are varying depending on location, but usually close to bottom to enhance chances with both migratory and residential fish seems to work best.
