I'm sure Deuce wouldn't miss some fur off his tail or underside.
I have a Blk/Wht Siberian Husky and some of his hair is better lookin than polar bear. It is clean and sparkles white like polar bear...... anyone ever use dog hair for flies??

Dog hair has negative scent, and fish will avoid your fly in slow water.

Had a dog and tried to use his hair for flies. In a word, Nada. If you don't cut fur from the hide the hairs are pointing all over the place and you will never align them or stack them. It can be used for dubbing tho'.

Thanks for the advise guyz :beerchug:
The hairs on his tail are about 3" - 4" long and just glisten in the lite. They look like polar bear. I will tie a few tho and hopefully they don't work for his sake. ;D or he will be as bald as me!!
