Silver lake near Hope
What the fishing like at silver lake? Reading about the lake there are, Chum Salmon, Coho Salmon, Dolly Varden, Kokanee, Pink Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Steelhead. What the best time of year to fish the lake? I was talking to a friend that caught a steel head on the lake in April; he was saying it was catch and release.

I fished there in early spring once, flyfishing from my float tube. I didn't get anything but it sure is a beautiful lake.

I have fished it in the spring a number of times but only caught one fish. I now wait for Ross lake and Skagit river to open. they are both excellant.

I was there a couple weeks ago and it is a beautiful lake. Talked to Darryl from Reaction yesterday and he said there's very few fish in there. Apparently all the fish in the system just fly down the creek to the Fraser and eventually the ocean due to the lack of obstacles in the creek.
