not unless you can lift it down the bank, you can park your truck along the highway and launch the boat by carrying it down about 15 feet by the entrance to the utility road at the west side of the lake off the highway. just look out for the "friendly" lake residents

My friends have caught many bass (now road kill) at silvermere on their pontoons. they say under that utility road is a culvert that connects the lake to the stave river and that is why they dispatch all bass they catch. All tribs that run into the lake have some sort of salmon runs I am told.

Real sportsmanlike of you and your friends. A true sign of people who care about the outdoors. ::) Maybe if you guys would do some research on the bass in there you'd know that they are not impacting salmon or trout stocks at all. They,ve stomach sampled over 400 bass out of that lake over the last 4 years and have never found any trout or salmon fry in them. I hope you and you're friends are proud of yourselves. :wallbash: Would you do the same thing to humans that weren't native to the area? Think about it buddy. :naughty:

I agree bass have just as much rights to be here as trout and bullheads for that matter! ::)

I always thought that Silvermere was land locked. The fish couldn't get out.
No there is an overflow pipe on the south-west corner. Just north of the gate across the private road. I will be seeing one of the residents of the lake tomorrow to see if I can launch my pontoon from their place  . I have known them for years so I am sure it will be OK. I need to get the new pontoon out soon.
