Squamish River:
I have never seen so many Pink Salmon in the Squamish river in my entire life! A 2 hour evening flyfishing outing produced a Pink salmon almost every cast. All I was doing for 2 hours was fighting fish. And fresh ones. The secret: Don't drag the bottom and don't have super light sink tips. Keep your leader short like under 4 feet and use small bright pink or chartreuse flies. Fish are holding in 2-3 feet of water mostly. You have to fish the lower river from the Cheakamus confluence downstream. There is a 2 fish limit.

Fraser River:
Sturgeon fishing is great right now. Lots of big fish for our charter guests. Sturgeon fishing will be great until mid November.
Chinook Salmon bar fishing has been very good since the opening on August 3rd. There is NO BOTTOM BOUNCING for Fraser river salmon right now. Sockeye are not open so please use selective fishing methods like spin glos or spinners.
