I will be visiting the Cedarvale/Skeena River area next week. Couple of years ago I walked down to the river and got 1 Pink. Used the typical river set up,level wind, float etc. 2 hrs there and only 1 Pink. I may not have the right system. Any tips would help and thanks.

If you have a fly rod use it. Fish the riffle water at the top and side of bars and creek mouths like Chemdemish (sorry about the spelling). Socks, steelies and the odd early coho should be lurking arround, I think this is an off year for skeena pinks but there should be few arround. If you don't have a fly rod, or prefer float fishing, I have done well in the past fishing blades. There should still be a good number of springs arround also if you wanted to plunk down for them.
