Hey Im doing a little camping at some smaller lakes over the next couple days. I dont have any small fly rods, just spinning rods. The lakes I will be fishing are about 400m wide and about the same in length. I do have a boat, so what are some good methods and gear to use? I usually just troll a willow leaf with a worm, or steelhead roe, but looking to fish a little different this time. Thanks.

Yea, a barbless size 0 blue fox cast towards shore can't be beat. Small panther martins are great too. Powerbait under a float works to but not an active technique, so not as fun IMO.
You can get into a light, decent fly set up for around 150 at some tackle shops, RFT for example carries TFO cheap decent rods.
