Anyone read legit info on the DFO extending sockeye in the marine area?
DFO say 9 million still staging to head up river.

The fish are still there according to the DFO.

It's not an extension of the opening. Instead, it simply hasn't closed. The original notice was "until further notice" (which has not yet come as far as i know)

It's my understaning they are not going to close the tidal sockeye opening.

The DFO website still says until further notice, I thought it all closed on sunday, I guess I will get one or two more tries at it

The fish are there but more work is needed to hook into them, but this changes daily, lots of flash and work the depths.
