Hey,

Has any heard of Salmon entering the systems. Mainly Cowichan, Sooke, Port Renfrew etc. I have a buddy in town this weekend and would like to some fish for him...

think the lower cowichan doesnt open till the 15th, as for the others, dont thnk youl be wasting your time if ya had a look eace:

Above skutz falls you can fly fish, however it sounds like there isn't much in the cowichan...a few coho;s and the typical resident brownies and rainbows.

I hear the sooke river has some dirty chums floating around...think i may take him out there and try our luck.

Regs state that the Cowichan, below Skutz opens on the 15th of November. But it doesn't open till 2359 PM,so no fishing below skutz till the morning of November 16th.
