I took some freind from ON out for a couple hour between the tide at 10:00. Got to hits on purple haze nothing else. 11:00 to 13:00. Again my boat was going to fast. Other guys got them on chartures flaser and green glow 4" coyote spoons.
Got 6 legal crabs in two hours.

Thanks for the report Jay. Better luck next time. Did you try out in the 100 - 140 foot deep water? I'm hoping to get out Friday.

I fished mostly at about 130' of wire... most likely 110' feet and the other line at 90', that is about the range where fish have been caught lately. I was using green glow 4" coyote spoon 6' leader and chartrus flasher (that was suppost to be the hot combo). Dragged Purple haze hoochie (another productive on of a late - apparently). There was some bait not heeps. I think I should have tried the QB and Ambleside.

skunk MAR 17

I gave her a go Mar 17 Van Harbour area. Trolled noon until 3. Not a nibble. One 3 hour troll, started at the Bell Buoy, to QB, then East toward Stanley PK. Circled around and got tired of steering into the wind. Cruised back to the dock. 4 lines on 2 riggers. Dodgers, flashers, spoons, hootchies, one line with just a spoon. 130, 110, 90, 80. Didn't find em. I think they move around with the tide, opposite to how we moved today. Wind was annoying. Oh well.
