I was at the stamp yesterday(upper)the river is very high tough to find places to fish but lots of fish in the river when you can find a spot.Always nice to hook a steelhead on the first cast of the season :eek: tough hiking with lots of trees blown down this year and its looks like another storm again today :(

Im in Nanaimo and shes raining hard so Im sure its raining in Port I dont think the Stamp will be dropping much I hope it clears in the next day or 2 Im heading to Gold river :) to visit my parents and want to fish the river

Hey James, as my kids would say, "only two more sleeps" till Stamp Day!!! Don't you worry about a thing, river should start to drop tonight, and all day Boxing Day. Low freezing levels til Wed, and then, a lovely sunny day, with just enough colour in the river to make those steelies frisky ;D ;D ;D You WILL be into fish!!!!!

One more sleep!! Catchin the early ferry tomm mornin! Gonna try and wet the lines after all the travellin and check in to Murphys lodge. Out with the guide on thursday, damn i cant wait!!!! Got extra batteries for the camera.
