I have three of these reels now and each seems to have a different problem, from no drag at all, then with a 1/1000 of a turn, you couldn't get a wrap off the drum if you used a 4X4 all you get is snapped leader and bye-bye Fish and other problems. In any case, is there a handy type out there with parts that works on reels for a reasonable amount? With things the way they are today it's almost cheaper to throw away and bye new. Any help appreciated.
Hey Hook.........Most level winds today, have more small parts in them than a swiss watch and 1 missing bearing or a washer and it's a no go...The cut away view of the parts req'd is a little intimidating for someone who doesn't do this too often. If you want your reel to PERFORM....get it done by a pro..............Ortho 8)
