No, I was working just banking time like a mad person right now, oh well it will pay off next month.

That is the great but frustrating thing about coastal cutts now you see 'em now you don't. See you in the AM I will be out embarrasing myself with my 2 handed casting :-\

Was that you guys I spoke with briefly in the afternoon near the boat launch? I was wearing a white CAT t-shirt.

Only a couple whitefish for me this morning. There were tons of guys there and not a lot of fish being caught. Some people were saying that they had heard of cutties being caught today, but most of it was third-hand information.

Ya nice meeting you Hook. Hope to get out more with ya . All that sun must of scared off the fish. Too bad. Went back out today with my dad and nephew and the bite was on. 2 fish landed and lost a couple in the first 20 min. My dad was keeping the little guy busy so he did not get to practice casting. Little dayton (6yrs old) hook himself in the finger and had a cry which keep my dad away from the water again. So i brought out the 6hp today and we putted a huge loop around the stave and its islands. No action around except up near the dam islands. Which when we got back by the cements blocks i threw out a couple casts and hooked a couple more. Lots of exploring and had a good time.

The poor little guy gave out quite a wail when he caught himself with that hook. It made me remember when that happened to me when I was about that age. Actually, that might be my earliest fishing memory. By the way, I was the guy on the other side of the river with the aviator shades and the green waders.
