by chance does anyone know if there are springs to be caught in the stave river? and can they be kept? i know there is a fall run of white springs but i'm looking for reds!!!!!

Spend most of your time there at the mouth. You can cast from shore or troll from a boat. It is a bit hit & miss, but there are fish caught there almost everyday and some of them are really BIG, so set up your gear accordingly......Ortho 8)
