I'm a field mechanic and some fish company rented a telehandler from us to load fish that they are buying from the natives. Someone filled the fuel tank with water in protest.
I'm going out on Sunday and would like to try to find some steelhead. Is it worth the trip to the harrison or should I head to the Vedder for some springs.
Went out this morning, no steelhead to be found. We got into 10+ pinks and two springs. there must be a late run of pinks in the harrison? All in all still fun to get out.
I was reading an article in BC Outdoors about bb for steelhead, I was using the technique they talk about. I had 1/4oz weight, 24" leader and a golf ball size hunk of pink procure roe. I did not feel the weight touch the bottom that much but the fish were hitting it.
