Well I took my son and his girlfriend out today to try and get him into his first dino. We had a few bites in the first couple of hours with him using fresh pink roe, I was using pink heads. He had one on briefly but it quickly spit the hook, no luck for me but I did have one real solid hit. Around 2:00 p.m. he started to get a few nibbles and decided to set the hook "FISH ON". The look on his face was priceless as he soon found out what power these fish have.
This fish didn't jump but it sure peeled out some line quickly. "Dad this things still pulling out line, holy cow they're strong!"

catching sturgeon is number one. after that it is hard to fish for pinks etc. fished for sturgeon for 15 years at lilooett and was never disappointed. nice pictures
