Anyone have a suggestion for where i should drop my lines on fri (29th)? I'm newer to fishing this area as I used to spend much of my time river fishing up north.

I am looking for guidance in fishing in the West Van area, Van areas..or even howe sound..

If i was going out i'd launch at mcdonald beach and fish the north arm of the fraser using green flashers, anchovies at 69 feet.
Or i'd head out to the sandheads. Fish the incoming high tide.

West Van and howe sound are reportedly slow wouldnt waste the fuel and making the trip there.

I had decent luck around the bell buoy and spanish banks on Monday. Picked up a 20 and a 22 in a couple hours. Haven't been out since so couldn't tell ya if they're still there.

don't go to howe sound its dead until December or so....if i was heading out i'd do exactly as someone else said...mcdonald beach and fish right out past the jetty down towards the T10 and if that doesnt work head back to the mouth and troll out toward the QA....W Van isn't going to work very well as all the rivers are so high after the rain the fish aren't holding in the chuck....unless you happen to have a line in there as some come in but it won't be because they are hanging around waiting for the rivers to fill up...
