On one of the other thread someone suggested a derby. I like the idea, however, there are many problems - especially if it more than a gentleman's kind of thing.
I think something is possible if one of the mod from BCFR would be a judge and we have rules as to where, when, and how fish are caught, registered and counted.
If we have a derby fun should be the reason for taking part. Prizes should be more honorary than monetary.
Prizes should be given for realeased fish... and pic of all fish entered should be posted with a report. More point should be given for a realease than a killed fish but I don't know how to referee that.
Just an idea.

I like the idea of a Salmon derby where you can release your fish and still qualify. It should be more for bragging rights and a good time, than actual prizes. The bigger the prizes, the more it just attracts the cheaters.
