i posted a thread in another forum... i was just wondering if someone could give me some info....
like which line would work best or a couple flyes that i could pick up that would work well.. thank you for your time and thank you if you leave some info...

I would suggest a floating line or sink tip setup for the fly rod. If you dont have a flyrod you can use a spining rod just tie a fly onto the mono line. Havent fished Surrey lake but have fished similar lakes in the area. Should have good success with halfbacks, spratleys,green shrimp, leechs/wolly buggers. Lots of small fish but plentiful, you should do well.
