I'm heading up to Surrey Lake with a group of fisherman from our church the 2nd weekend of September. I'm wondering how the fishing is then. Likely good, but anyone had any fall success at Surrey. What size of fish and good areas to fish it.

i go up to surrey lake twice a year for a night... I was up there in the spring and did not catch a thing... first time i have ever gone up there and cought nothing.... and there were people there catching fish... they were using a sprateley... you will have great succes with shrimp, leaches, and wolly buggers.... and similar patterns to leaches.... i do not care about not catching fish its more of just getting away.... i will be going back in October... plus i was not fishing all that much because again i was only there for a day... i got a couple strikes and i was not there long enough to find out what flys were working... make sure you have all types on fly lines to... o ya heres some advise make sure you spend that extra 10 bucks to upgrade your cabin its well worth it...
