I am hoping one of the moderators can find it and post. If not, I will tell you, if you quit typing for a few minutes, you will be "loggged off" automatically!.....I know, type it on a word document then cut and paste to the BCFR......right?......Just giving other members a heads up..If they can't find my document, I'm not typing it again.......Suffice to say in point form
Great sunrise
Guy hits fish in the spot I left on the first or second cast
Meet/greet at Fred's
Fish like hell all morning
Drink some Ales, have lunch, and fish like hell
Drink the last ale and drive home
No fish!!
Hook and Wagonmaster apparently got very wet??........

ok here is some more info
Hook gets into a big fish 18#+ and it takes him under a tree
so Hook gives his rod to Wagonmaster and heads in the water to try and get the fish free
then slip in he goes :shock:
soaked pritty bad looses the fish and it was an early bath fom there
This was the report i got
i am sure the guys will give you there side of it

Well - at least he got a bath with a fish on! Hopefully the water wasn't deep enough to pose a significant hazard!

Hey fishortho,
I got a disorder called typingintrouptitus... when ever I have a good idea or a post half don't I am automatically drawn away by other more pressing event - oven catching fire, the Canucd tieing a game, or a phone call. I have delt with my disorder by copying my opus so that when I get logged off I can past it back on and bang I'm in bussiness.

So how did wagonmaster get wet, you see I work with the guy and he's on holidays, I NEED SOME DIRT, to talk about when he comes back, lol
hey there guys
Well i see my story got abit askewed from what i told Finder when i called to say we wouldnt be showing at the Miller (sorry)
the story goes that wagonmaster and i were treading our way around in that gorgeous amount of pools just up from the crossing bridge when i come across a Huge log and WOW to my amazement i see some steelies just sitting under there kicking with the current completely oblivious that i was standing almost on top of them so i yell to my dad " you have got to see this" so he comes up and we are both standing there watching them just relaxin under this F--ing tree
"hmm, how to get them out of there" we wonder well let me tell you i kinda reached my rod under that log and as soon as my wool got even remotely close to their faces where they could see it KABOOM the biggest one fricking pounds it and tries going up river with my rod and myself. So im holding on hoping i can get him to turn back under the tree and out on my side. we play a small tug of war, then he relaxes as he is back under the tree "my turn" i think i pull hard towards myself and i pop him out from under the tree WOOHOO the fight is on now out into the rapids he bolts, hits the current and starts ripping line out. Of course about 200 feet downsteam there is a f--ing log over hanging the river almost entirely across the river and about a foot over the water. well we all know where the fish went, i tried my hardest to slow him up so i could land on this side of the tree but NO WAY was that happening so i run donw the fish i get to the overhanging tree, yell at my dad to get on the other side. We are gonna pass the rod under the tree then the fight is yours for a bit. So here we are both out in the current leanign out into the water as im reaching the rod under the tree SNAP the line finally breaks, which in turn makes me lose my balance and BOB i go in and pop up on the other side of the tree grabbed by my dad.
WE both curse a lot as that fish was a monster and definately the biggest i have ever hooked up. ( bigger than 20+) and that my friends is how i got wet and didnt really want to come to the Miller afterwards
and to those that thought it was cold it wasnt actually that bad felt refreshing actually the cold part was the drive home when my dad wanted the sunroof open and i was still wet

and im very glad i didnt bring my Digital DVD camcorder this time
WOOW thank god
i mean i ruined my camera/video cell phone cause of the little bit of water
DAMN they are expensive to replace too
oh well all in a days fishing
that one will definately have my name on it next time i go out
and just for the record if i had landed that one we would have gotten an exact weight as it was a Hatch as well :shock:

Good read, Hook,,,,,,,,,Just one more reason for ALWAYS having a whole set of dry clothes n the car...Ya never know! We've all taken a bath or filled the waders at one time or another. Too bad you didn't land that slab...Walter is still out there, boys!..........Ortho
