Hi there,

I am going to Mont Tremblant first week of June for a business trip and I was thinking to go fishing in the Devil's River.
I already found the store where I am going to ask some info, but I was wondering if any of you has already been fishing there.
I have 8wt rod and I was wondering if this is too much for that is available in that river. Any thoughts?

I don't know the river at all, but unless you are targeting salmon or steel, anything above a 6 wt is probably too much for a river. If that is all you all have, then I wouldn't worry about it too much. It won't harm the trout and you will still enjoy the trip.
