Still lots of snow. I hit a side road the other day and almost got stuck. Almost put an end to my day. I thought I was going to spend the afternoon digging myself out but the new tread pulled me out quite nicely!

Oh Yeah!

All rivers are low and clear! I managed a few hours out there and hooking a few locals.I got to one pool where I could see
a beauty 4-5 lb dollie and unfortunately i could also see it move out of the way of my presentation too. Sometimes I hate site fishing.

How upper is upper on the squish? I have only been on there in a jet so I know the mamquam (sp?) and 20 mile bridge and the tree at 42 mile that was blocking my way! I ran it in the summer and I saw a lot of fishy water! How are the cutts and Dolls up there?

just went up there. as stated before road was all snowy at the 22mile but some drove to the 23mile. I didnt touch any fish and i never saw or heard of anybody else get any. There is 2-3feet of snow up there and it gets tiring walking through the bush semi lost for over an hour hoping to find the road, which we did...eventually ;D

i was around the 23 mile, how high do people go when the road is clear?

cascademarine, how do you know the mile markers when your on the river?

I am a boy scout and as all good boy scouts I carry a topo map, compass and now a GPS to figure out distances and such. That and using specific reference points like the 20 mile bridge to gauge where I am.
