Fished the Stamp for 2 days this week, and had okay success by Stamp River standards. We've definitely had better days. Got into 4 the first day and landed all of them. The second day, got into 5 and landed 4. All nice bright fish, 2 with sea lice still on them. But man, was that river low. The lowest i've ever seen it.
I ran into Hotrod at the lodge on Wednesday morning. My first time meeting him. Had a good chat and got to swap fishing stories with him over breakfast. Hope to be able fish with him sometime in the near future. Great to meet ya hotrod.

Yeah finally nice to meet you steeliesrking.I got the feeling that we could have alot fun fishkng the flow.A real pleasure for sure.I managed to hook up with two steelies on the sproat one of which was behind two local rods and the other was down river from there.I went two for three on the Stamp so over all I caught five and landed four.Yeah the river is real low and clear.I've been to the stamp at least twelve times since before Xmas and have only three good days there.So it's been tough fishing for sure.It's good you got into that many on your trip.
