Hi all,
Planning on going to the Vedder tomorrow with some mates, being an Aussie and new to this salmon fishing thing would appreciate any words of wisdom as to good locations?

Hope I don't get shot for this, but..... Borden Creek. You will see a sign saying this and a little bridge. Just follow the trail out to the river bed then up around the trees to the main river. It is real nice water to get a grip on what to do when it comes to float fishing. I was there about a week ago. Real nice water, but I didn't hit anything. :cheers:

fished the same piece of water today, no change, no fish holding there.

Yeah, I don't get it.... maybe water height... Looks like awesome water and if I was a fish I would stop there for a bit, but they don't seem to hold there. ???
