I caught them in Barnet Marine Park

Oh just off the lil pier there? Must've been that oil spill last year, makes fish big =). Are those fish usually there? I wasn't even aware fishing there was good. Ambleside fishing is dead these days i thought other piers would be too.

Caught and seen a lot of perch, never seen one near that big, sure that is a perch ? Salt.

That one is a striped seapearch. There are a halve a dozen varities of seapearch and surfpearch in this neck of the woods. All grow to around a foot except shinners.

oh sorry - disregard. i blew up the pic, and alas - a perch of some sort. and a big one at that...
