Hi all.
I'm thinking of heading up to Kamloops this weekend and doing some fishing on the Thompson on the way there and back.
Advice solicited:
- Anyone know if the fishing is any good at this time of year? Would I be better hitting a lake?
- Do fish bite all day, or are there time windows (i.e., dawn, dusk)?
- Wet or dry? Any suggested patterns/sizes?
- Any good spots for big fish you'd recommend?
I was out for a day near Ashcroft last year. Fished mostly Tom Thumbs and had no action until dusk, when things went nuts and I caught about a dozen in an hour. I don't know if this is typical, so I'd appreciate any advice.
Regards,
Eric
