ok guys im wanting to pick up some tying material for trout flies and just curious which materials would be good to get that i can use to tie alot of the main staple flies for stillwaters. i have alot of chronamid stuff already so im thinking like dragons, mayflies, sedges, scuds, damsels, etc. i have leech stuff also but dont fish them often :happy:

HOOK-go to this topic (2 below the one you started) http://www.bcfishingreports.com/forum/index.php/topic,5532.0.html and look up 2 or 4 patterns you want to tie. Look at the recipes and make a list of the materials they require and then go to the store and ask them to sell you the stuff you need. Oh, and when you tie them, use them. Leeches for example are a deadly pattern, especially at the beginning of the season.
