Move on to Tunkwa for a little camping June 25-27 and ran into the BC Outdoors "Fishing with the pro's weekend". Looked at the lake to see the algae bloom starting to happen. Once again the weather was very unsettled and fishing seemed to be quite slow. Most of the "expert" lake guys were leaving to go to other lakes like Morgan,Leighton etc. Late Saturday the "Pro's" headed out with their school of anglers and a few hours later came back in with not too much to talk about. Did watch a few of the power bait/ worm anglers catch some but the fly guys were having a very tough time overall.

The unsettled and inconsistant weather seems to be the story up there so far this year. Unless you are planning on spending a good amount of time up there at once, it is a real crap shoot on what sort of conditions you may get. This is why I think this summer (July/Aug) will offer some great still water fishing once everything stabalizes. At least that's the hope.::)

Finder:cheers:
