Tie them with chennile, tie them with dubbing! There are no rules!! Here are some tied with krystal flash chenille! These are not tied traditional but are a very effective steelhead pattern, winter or summer fish!
your flies look awsome, what feather are u using for a back? my flies are on a #2 low water hook so teal flank feathers have worked so far, but i'm running out of large ones. Do you tie any with schlappen?
Hopefully one of my friends will come over for a photo shoot of my flies with their digital.
I think i recognise those flies from a certain fly swap? I have tried to replicate them using purple instread of pink, but they have nowhere near the same classy finished look to them. Sweet ties. Thanks again,
