Hey Guys,

It's a bit late if you are launching tonight (Wednesday) in and around the fireworks "sheeotshow"; but if any of you are out on Saturday and coming back in or out around 4 onwards make sure your boat/trailer etc is all in ship shape.

Just got back from a run in through False Creek and Van Police were handing out plenty of tickets and giving boats a pretty serious "once over".

Just thought I would give you the heads up.

I work at a marine store right near there. It was funny as hell on Saturday watching the steady steam of 'boaters' getting turned back at the launch and trying to get the safety gear needed to watch the fireworks. Vessel that need every thing from light to life jackets... thanks for the business VPD.

Haha.....I bet there was plenty of scrambling Jason!! I'll have to pop in and say hi soon.....was in there before my trip and missed ya.
