Sorry for the late report but I was waiting for searun to send me the pics. Well searun and his son guppy and I headed out to the veddar and we covered a ton of water and saw absolutly nothing. I even tried out my new pole and even that did not work. Thought about taking it to KWB but I think the pole may be too long for that area. It was still a great day out with beautiful weather and great company. Here is a picture of my new pole.

This is a joke of course. Found this in a parking lot on the lower end. No it was not used by us.

I was pretty shocked when I saw it. It had a perfect wire basket at the end and it looked like it could be used as a dip net style thing. Have no idea why else it would of been there

It looked like it was made to be a net. But the netting was made with what looks like chicken wire. Someone had flattened the basket net.
