I was finally able to get out and do a little fishing. Fished from the "on the way store" to just past keith wilson rd. Some fish surfacing, but no one was hooking any fish from about 8:00 to 11:00 am. Then for about 2 hours hooked 4 chum(all released) on a purple wool and dime sized roe combo after trying spoons, blades, and other wool color combos. No coho seen or landed by anyone else.
It was a fun day since it wasn't too crowded and I got to try out a new reel. A shimano curada 301. A great reel for larger salmon and well worth the price.
