This Morning
My father in law is here in town from the island, and he was wanting to fight some springs, so We headed to the vedder this morning for first light. we get to my usual spot and there wasnt much sign on fish at all, My father in law gives me this look like thanks for taking me here ... there is no signs of fish at all LOL !!!! So i tell him to be patient.. as it slowly gets lighter and lighter out, we see some spring thrashing in the tail out !!! to make a long story short I hooked 9 Springs landed 5 lost 4 my father i law hooked 6 springs landing 2 lost the other 4 , he also caught 2 nice sized bull trout about 16-18 Inch's everything hooked and landed was released , the springs are pretty ugly now but wanted my father in law to fight some river springs for bit of a change for him....
Lastnight
We bar fished the lower fraser for about 6 hours, on the incloming tide, didnt see a whole of fish around, we both missed some really good hits, but we missed them due to falling asleep in our chairs LOL !!! ,We saw one Spring about 25 pounds landed that was a bullet chrome red spring. I barfished the lower the other day had a brief hook up, and that was it, lots of fish moving through.
