went up for the night bite got to allison pool around 6;30 and fished it till dark! fished spoons,spinners wool under a float as well as worms and notta sniff! not even on the worms! seen a few jump in the pools but not many! the water is excellent for visibality seen no one else fishing while we were there!

Thanks for the report ck...It's sounding like this heat may have put the fish into lock jaw mode over the past few days....I know it has put me into couch mode. :wink: Maybe I'll give it a go at first light...

I love first light ! It sure beats the sweltering heat of the afternoon. With cooler temps. and a new moon this weekend we should see a big improvement in numbers .

this morning

I was out there at 5:30 AM until about 9:00 am. Fished both sides of the train bridge. Nothing. Didn't even see a fish. Didn't see anyone else having any luck either. It would be interesting to find out if the upper river was better.
