Ok guys, I used to be a member last year, but I guess I was inactive for too long. Anyways, I've managed to get a few days off of work, and some friends and I are heading down to Chilliwack to go camping. I fly fish in the interior on stillwaters, but have never fished a river. That being said, I have read a lot, and am confident enough to take a day, and try the Vedder. I was wondering where a good spot, with easy access would be, and what kind of flys I should be using. I hope I don't sound too stupid asking these questions, but it would sure make the weekend if I could land one of those beauts!

Thanx for any and all advice you fine folks could give.

BTW, I'm heading down the last weekend in April, if that makes a difference at all.

There are a few good spots to fly at the Vedder
I would start at the left of the railway bridge and work your way up or down fishing all the water you can
some of these fish are in shallow water
The water level maybe up a bit by then but there are not many holes to fish with the fly
and the fish will be moving up river at different times of the day
good luck 8)
I am heading up there for a couple of days, the week after next with a couple of buddies
and will be chucking some feathers
