Started arround mid river
There were two guys at the run one was a guide
Still room for me up top
i tried everything i had Roe wool single egg
nothing except a couple of small guys that attacked my roe and stayed on till close to shore
Seen a few fish rolling here and there
The other two guys got nothing
I moved to another spot but nothing doing there
Water was arround 1ft visability
Man was it hot out there
Dont forget the sun screen guys
Oh well hope to get out again next week

I went out today as well. Mid river I saw nothing. However, Lots of fish were rolling below the crossing, but with the clarity and volume of water moving down I couldn't seem to get any. They are in there for sure.

Spent the entire day there too. From 6am until 5pm. In four different places: Lickman, Peach, the Bridge and up to the cabins on Wilson Road. I tried everything I had, but nothing. Water still high and running fast. The only place were I saw some flips was under the bridge. Also, it was the only place with some nice pool, with good water visibility.
And yes, it was very hot! And because of that I guess the water will be higher due to snow melting.
I guess we should wait the end of july for some nice action.

Cheers,

Giuseppe

who knows ... return is very low in numbers. Last year this time there were lots of fish in the hatchery pool, today there was one huge lucky female swimming around

I wonder with this high water if they are just shooting right past the hatchery and going up into the canyon area.

They are all in the mid/lower lol, been out 4 days now. Seen 10 jump/roll (yes Im sure they are springs because they are sitting 2 feet from the edge, and jumping right at my feet) and hooked 4. Gonna go out tonight and try some roe, maybe Ill finally land one  Just gotta re-learn how to tie knots, yesterday I had 2 big hits and reeled in to find my leader pig-tailed at the end ::)

they are spreaded through the river. I don't see why there will be few fish in the hatchery with all fish in the mid/lower

There may be a bunch throuhgout the whole river, but from the reports I've been getting from people I know in the upper, the lower is alot better. Had a Jack chase my roe up to the edge today  Saw a bunch more socks jump and a couple springers (smaller ones, 10ish pnds max). River still dropping, and water clarity starting to get really good. Was 3 feet when I got there at around 7 and was over that when I left at 9ish.

Lol I hope so, that would bring the number of people out on the Vedder way down I would think. Went tubing today, only 1 fisherman seen, saw a few socks roll and 1 Spring.
