my gear season ended with a whimper......3 hours on the river this afternoon, one hit and that was it....river was up a foot since saturday

River was splendid and the fish had moved from their low water holds back to their typical haunts, managed to hook 7 on the chartreuse jigs, was a good ending to the season, last fish was a nice 6 pound hatchery doe that wont be spawning with a wild fish ;D.

With the river dropping and clearing and weather cooler, do not hesitate to go flyfihsing, but do it quick before we get a hot spell, lots of chromers in there, trust me .

No i believe it is Fly Fishing only, but you can still retain Hatchery Steelhead
