Was out on the Vedder today with my dad, who is down from Williams Lake and had a great day! Hooked three steelhead , landed one hatchery and landed one nice Bull trout! Great day on the water fishing gear, forgot how much easier it was to catch fish with gear! Saw two other guys on the water the whole time, all though we only fished three hours.

Awesome, great report. Get's me stoked for saturday. Looking forward to breaking out the Luna for at least one more trip and have already tired the roebags. Tomorrow though, Sturgeon....... Will post that report along with hopefully a couple others. Again, great looking fish. :beerchug:

Sweet action! Fishin' with the pops is where it's at...I took mine out steelheading twice last year and he got his first ever on the second trip...great times. Kinda chokes me up a bit... lol ;D

Great report - I was snopping around to see if it was worth the trip out, and was getting mixed reviews from some of the shops. Looked like the water was in great shape too. Well done.

The clarity is dropping rapidly! Water was perfect at 6 am and by about 11 I would hazzard a guess at barely over a foot.....in the mid river. :-\

Ya I was up there in the morning roughly around 7:00am at tamihi just got a little rainbow (baby steelhead) let that go. Then headed up river just past thurston campground and fished all along there to the afternoon water was really nice then back down to tamihi to end my day with nothing to show except some mosquito bites. As bigsteel mentioned the water got pretty colored up in the afternoon but it was not that bad where I was I couldent tell you what it looked like below. Well I got one yesterday 7-8 pound hatch which is gettin smoked at bruces, nothin today might go try the cheak tomorrow and back to the Vedder on monday God you gotta love the four day weekend.
