no action except for 5 nice trouts. Water is very clear though. Beautiful day.

a lot of people in the afternoon at lickman. several big spring landed, but it was a flossing festival.

When the runs of fish that start entering the river in a couple weeks see all the decorations on the bottom left behind by the flossers out now, they're gonna think its christmas for crying out loud! Any of these guys been looking at the test sets in the Fraser and the lack of coho, or the 14 day forecast which is calling for NO precip? The river is gonna be dirt low in no time with nothing entering it for at least 2 if not 3 weeks.

Just got back from lickman, there was about 15 people crowding the tailout with one guy aparently pullin in 3 springs at the very tip. And one caught on the other side by a young lady. Other than that no luck for me and while i was there no one else.

First of all the test nets may say something about the stocks, but think about it this way. The Fraser river is absolutley massive and you are trying to get 1 fish out of it. Secondly I'm pretty sure they are targetting springs anyways.

No I dont live in Chilliwack, I live across the Fraser from there in gods country, home of the sasquatch. Further, the test sets are not targetting springs as its almost fall now, they're more than likely targetting late sockeye returns with the same mesh size that would apply to coho. To add to that, I do know by now that the eastern Fraser valley gets wierd weather patterns, as a matter of fact its snowing here right now with dense fog and sun.
