Let's see some reports guys....give us something...I don't think I'll be back to the vedder until boxing day, but it'd be great to hear how things are doing...
thx,
rib
water is high and dirty but fishable.....that will change tomorrow though......lost one coho late in the day........the spot i have been hitting coho lately was taken by a couple of guys from Galgary so could not fish it today......was fishing below them for a while and saw them release 3 nice wild........hooked into a rediculously large number of chum and springs today....they are getting pretty scary looking but the odd one is still pretty fresh.......broke off numerous hooks and leaders(15 lb).....brought to shore at least 15........it was fun but would rather not hit one of them all day while coho hunting
watch out for the pineapple express......river is going to be nasty
I fished the upper river on saturday and got 3 coho's in the morning. They still had quite a bit of fight in them but were turning so all were released. Lots of fish moving up the river but most were uninterested in what I was showing them. Springs got fairly active in the afternoon. All in all good day on the river and I was very glad to see all the rain.
How much pencil lead do you need to fish this stretch of river????   (This pic was borrowed from the FWR forum...) The bridge at Tamihi...
Watch the news tonight kids....CBC and CTV will likely both have peices on the vedder river flood, the evacuations, and the rescue efforts...appearently some fishermen went missing...Let's all hope they are safe and sound.
