Any info on water temperatures in the Merrit area? Particularly in the Roche Lake area and Plateau Lake.

I don't know about those particular lakes but we fished the Lower Nicola this last weekend and the water was easily a foot higher and much colder than usual though it is coming down. For the Lower Nicola the high water is actually a good thing as it is a threatened river due to the dropping water levels. Last we fished in the Chataway area, the lakes were much higher and colder than usual for this time of year.
